Lat-Long Tool for Dispatchers
Enter a Lat-Long and see the location appear on a map
Use this to test your GPS; as backup to the MapStar display for cell calls where you see the lat-long on the ALI but it doesn't map; etc. Can enter lat-long in either decimal degrees or degrees.minutes.seconds format. (From MapQuest's special lat-long function).
See Topo (Topographic) Maps (Topozone)
Enter a Street Address and see its Lat-Long (MS Terra Server)
Use this if you have a street address for a building and want to get its lat-long in decimal degrees. Radio folks working on FCC licenses will like this. It has a few steps:
Click on link, enter street address info and click Go. If a selection comes back, click on Aerial Photo (with the date of the photo) to get the map. Then click on your actual location in the photo and look over to see the Lat Long listed in decimal format.
There is also this separate approach: http://geocoder.us/
Check a Postal Address (Satori)
Use this if you want to check the validity of a street address
